Makeup Through the Decades: A Photo Series

You know when you come up with this fantastic idea and you share it with someone? Then that someone is like, "Hell yeah, let's do it!" I'm really good at that. I come up with great ideas. I even go as far as to tell someone about it and get them excited to. And then life seems to happen and I'm laying in my bed playing whatever video game Steam convinced me I needed.

A few years ago, I shared an idea with my cousin. I told her I was interested in doing a photography photo series. You may or may not know, but I used to be really into photography. I still am, but until I'm able to have my own dark room (I know, what a snob), this will have to do. The photo series was to do hair and make-up from each 1900 decade (minus the 1900s because what?)... As best we knew how. It's important to tell you that neither Katelyn nor myself believe we're fancy make-up or hair artists. In the least bit. Some of our attempts are sad (*cough*1930s*coughs*) but it was fun. And it only took a good... 3 years? Yeah. We're lazy.

I'm going to post each individually over the next few weeks because I want to force you all to come look at my blog that I'm not paying attention to. Maybe that'll make me actually pay attention to it.

- so I can sigh eternally -
